Good location, clean room with fantastic view. Well equipped bathroom and bedroom with mini fridge and coffee machine. Friendly welcome from reception staff.

Bed was uncomfortable and room lacked ventilation. I couldn't adjust the temperature on the room thermostat and the bathroom had no ventilation at all. Our stay coincided with major football match so everywhere was more expensive than usual due to high demand.

The bathroom could have done with a bit of upgrade as the skirting board had flake of paint coming off and the back of the bathroom door had cracks. The light above the sink did not work. Separately, while the bed seems absolutely clean, the sheet had a couple of faint yellow stains. I did not say anything on the night as I came back late. It would be helpful to make 2 things clear for first time visitors: 1. The hotel name is displayed as cafe and not Hotel Clifton from the road; second that the parking is on first come first serve and that you have to pay for It (I may have missed that information but it was unclear to me when I booked).

We had 2 flats they hadn't been cleaned propperly the sofas were stained and the hobs were full of crumbs the ovens smoked as they haven't been cleaned. There was alot of damage around the property the hob was smashed/cracked the walls in the bathrooms had damp issues and all the blinds did not fit the windows properly so they let all the sunlight in from early in the morning and there were gaps big enough to see though so getting changed in the bedrooms wasn't pleasant as we were ground floor. Upon pointing these issues out to the property managers via email the only response was thanks for letting us know

Terrible breakfast the first day there was a big coach party to cater for only choice with the breakfast or scrambled egg that was like rubber, the breakfast the second day was very nice. You actually got a menu and order what you liked So not all bad
