Too noisy - the secondary windows did not prevent the noise from outside from disturbing sleep.

Breakfast was very good but we couldn’t enjoy it all as had to leave early and only opened at 0800. The room was far bigger than expected and well equipped.

Even though it's only a few steps up from reception to the lift, when you have a heavy suitcase it's a little difficult

Room was more spacious than I had expected. Bed was very comfortable. Location was perfect for where I had to be the next morning and very close to food outlets and a short walk to the Arndale Centre

A few confusions. I thought there was a gym but there was no mention of it anywhere so I did pilates in the narrow confines of my room. I also thought the spa was in this branch; it was in another branch of the same brand, so perhaps the gym is in the other location as well.

We arrived a little early (just after 1pm) and it would have been nice to get into our room had it been ready. We were told they would check, and if it was ready we could get in (lovely - nice gesture) - for an extra £10!! We thought that was a bit cheeky. We weren’t pushing to get in early and in the premier inn and other hotels they would have just let us in at no extra charge! Totally understand the extra charge if we’d requested an early check in and it was hours ahead, we were just over an hour early. So, we left our luggage and went elsewhere to have a few drinks. Had we checked in, we’d have probably gone to our room and had a few drinks in the bar to plan the rest of the day. The only other wee issue was the breakfast. Other members of the party didn’t enjoy the bacon and sausage. They were very pale. At other hotel stays you often get a choice of crispy bacon, streaky bacon etc, however none of the bacon was really well done. We could have asked for this I guess, but we didn’t feel the need at the time. Sausages were also a bit pale and lukewarm, which made them look uncooked. Also, no fried egg option, only scrambled. Other than that, breakfast was ok and the staff were super friendly and attentive.

Very little to say that was not nice. Overall great experience.

Clean and spacious room and toilet. Location was great. Around 10min walk from the Manchester Oxford Station. Staff were friendly. They hotel provided storage for our bags upon checkout which helped us to explore the city for a few hours. Would recommend the hotel to anyone.

There was no charging point or plug near the bed for charging my phone

This is a great hotel in the centre of Manchester. I've stayed a couple of times, location is brilliant, staff are super friendly & the bar is great. Only niggle is the rooms are dark. But I love this place - my go to when I head to Manchester.
