Famosa 2 Stay is the most budget-friendly accommodation in Melaka. Its location is unbeatable, with just a few meters walk to the city's centre, including attractions like the Taming Sari Tower, Night Uptown, Dataran Pahlawan Melaka, Mahkota Parade, Boat Cruise, Jonker Walk, the Stadhuys and many more. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. This strategic location near the city centre and many attractions save time and money, as you don’t need to drive, stuck in a jam, search for parking, or pay a few times for outside parking. It’s a perfect choice for those looking to explore Melaka conveniently and economically.

The instructions for key collection and self check in were clear. The hosts are very helpful and responsive. The place is new, very clean, complete amenities for a big group like us (7 pax), very safe and very near Petronas Towers and KLCC. Just a few minutes walk indeed. Lobby also accepts luggage storage for free as long as its within the day. The roof deck pool has a view of the KL Tower and Merdeka 118. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to KL. My family and I are satisfied and happy with our stay here. Very affordable for such great facilities and location.

Only thing I find quite bothersome is the elevator wherein the person who submitted the selfie for face recognition should accompany the others within his/her group if one of them needs to come up. Going down to the lobby is no problem but he/she can’t go back up if not accompanied by that person with the selfie. It can also be quite bothersome for that person but I understand that its for the security of the guests and residents in that building. Also we had a little problem with the bath tub. The knob to drain it malfunctioned. It was probably done by the guest before us so we were not able to enjoy the bath tub while we’re there. But all the rest is great.

Everything, we were not left wanting. The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities we wanted. It was located in an area filed with food which we found very convenient. We asked for an extended check out which the staff obliged. Everything worked in the 2 rooms we had booked.

Facilities are not great, they say have sauna but the security doesn’t know how it works, you switch it on when you come back in 39 minutes it’s off even though you tell them to let it get warm.
