We visited Rhodes three times recently while touring the Dodecanese islands. On each occasion we stayed at three Porolithos because it is beautifully located in the Old Town and because Katerina and her family welcome you into their family as dear friends. The rooms are each unique and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is an event with pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt and honey, toast and delicious eggs. Katerina has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Old Town and a capacity to suggest just the right restaurant for your mood and taste. We would not consider staying anywhere else in Old Rhodes than Porolithos Boutique Hotel.

I recently stayed at this property and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, providing easy access to local attractions while maintaining a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The entire place was exceptionally clean, which made my stay even more comfortable. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any needs or questions I had. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

Giorgos' Old Story 2Bed Stone House with Private Hamam in the Old Town

Ricardo met us at the gates to the old walled city and showed us to the house, gave us the keys and lots of advice about the town. He was on hand to help us if we needed it. The house was delightful. We were lucky to meet Giorgio who is a true gentleman. His woodwork in the house is amazing. We loved being in the old town in a residential area. Loved visiting the historical sites and the great eating establishments away from the main centre. Would love to stay again.

The location was fabulous for us. So close to all to from the port, rental car options within metres, lots of yummy restaurants and cafes around. Demtetrius the host met us from the ferry (despite it arriving at midnight!) and kindly helped us with bags and orientation). He was very responsive at all times and left us snacks, beer and juice as well-thank you! The beds were comfortable and the double-glazing blocked all street noise.

The property is perfect! It is so close to The Agora. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. The room I was has got the best view of the Acropolis! It has a cute veranda and winding staircase! Really nice. The staff were wonderful people especially Lambros and Anna. Amazing people and the food at the restaurant was gorgeous!!
