A quirky character cottage, with the conveniences we've come to expect from a B&B: very comfortable beds, great bathroom, everything clean and tidy, everything we needed to keep warm on a very chilly night in Peterborough. Both couples were in EVs and the charging station was a short walk away, which made it very easy.

Option to have an apartment and kitchen, it was ideal for what we required. & Plenty of room in bedrooms and vanity. Loved the split bathrooms for large number of guests, it was ideal. Great location to access the major roads and Bistro on site.

Updated photo's on advertisement, appears the photo's were likely a lot of years ago when closer to being refurbished. Carpet was fairly ordinary & has seen better days and could use a dry clean. Single room, was advised 2x Singles although only had 1 (Shared with a child in one of the double's instead).

Ping is a lovely lady. She welcomed me to the beautiful tastefully decorated home. She showed me through the home and pointed out the facilities and amenities. The king sized bed and bathroom were amazing and privacy was excellent.

I stayed for one night and was very tired so spent most of my time sleeping and relaxing in my room. I would have liked to make use of the outdoor area and cooked on the well appointed gas stove and perhaps a drink or two with guests. A TV in my room would have been the only thing missing.

Water pressure was a bit on the low side, electric heating blankets weren't really functional but room and duvet was warm enough.

the heater didn't really warm up the room enough for us (we do live with a wood heater), the bathroom was cold due to the vent at the top of the window and while the shower looked amazing, due to the actual size and open shower it was actually freezing if you stepped out from under the water.

We wanted to have a good view of the gardens, but the other hotel's rooftop was blocking the view. It didn't look aesthetically pleasing to look at.
