Kalidasa Tree House and Villa, Wayanad features lake views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Chekadi, a few steps from Kuruvadweep. We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.

PEARL HUT home stay vythiri Wayanad is set in Vythiri, 10 km from Lakkidi Viewpoint, 19 km from Karlad Lake, as well as 21 km from Kanthanpara Waterfalls. We loved the property and easily accessible to the primary spots. Neat and clean property with enough facilities for cooking and with a big parking. It was Calm and peaceful with no disturbance from surrounding and a very supportive owner and care taker. We were 5 Friends and the rooms were very accomodative.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Yellow Postbox. I booked the place because the photos looked incredible, and it was the only place I found in this area which seemed tastefully decorated and bright with sunlight. I was happy that the place turned out to be even better than the photos. The location is perfect if you're flying in or out of Kochi airport. Even though it's close enough to the airport, Kochi city, Fort Kochi, and Aluva are accessible. The best thing about the location of Yellow Post box is that it is in a serene village. It's beautiful there. The best part? The food was fantastic! The host—Divya's mother, prepares the food in their home, just 5 minutes away, and bring it fresh to Yellow Postbox. They were all very kind in adjusting the food to my preference and taste, they did not use coconut oil, which I dislike. They have a very good simple menu, and it's packed and served very neatly. Overall, if you need a comfortable, spacious, and clean place with a friendly host near Kochi airport, this is it! I had a very pleasant stay and totally recommend it!
