The view was exceptional. Like nothing I’ve ever see. Before. The photos do not do this place justice! It is incredible beyond words, my partner and I agreed it was the best view of Positano and the ocean you could get in the entire city, and we visited some of the most highly rated restaurants with views and nothing compared to the view from Casa Gilda. Gilda is a beautiful woman who made us feel like family, her daughter who speaks English gave us great recommendations, helped us with bus tickets etc. Gilda cooked us a home made breakfast in the mornings on her terrace which was beautiful and was so lovely to us always! Further, the location is incredible and so much better than staying in town. There is a SITA bus stop 100m down the road which takes you anywhere along the Amalfi coast from Sorrento through to Amalfi town, stopping at beautiful beaches and restaurants along the way which was so convenient. Positano itself is a 10-15min walk along a beautiful coastal road. As well, there is a private walk past a gate from Casa Gilda which you are given keys for that takes you down to Arienzo beach which is amazing with a cute beach club as well. I could not recommend this place enough, they could charge 10x the price, and being on the cheaper side of accommodation in Positano I cannot believe the value for money. Already planning our next trip. Amazing. 11/10.

This apartment makes you feel like you are in a heaven overlooking Positano center. It has very good facilities, terrace with outside shower is the best. The owner is very nice, speaking Italian, but it is easy to understand each other. The bus to the center goes from the bus stop just few meters below on the road. From the greeting to the stay everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place to everyone. For our family of 4 there was more than enough room with the 2 bedroom option. There was also a mini market just down the street where we could by breakfast and lunch items for the day. The views are just spectacular. Every night and every morning we were in the balcony enjoying all the views. The owner of the property was extremely helpful, kind and made sure that we were taken care of. Thank You so much for an amazing place to stay in Positano! We will be back!!

We loved our stay in Casa Cinque. First off the location was perfect. Right along the main road. The walk to and from the nearby hot spots and sights was easy and more than manageable as we were perfectly located along the main road. The room and view are absolutely stunning and was perfectly matched to the listing - even better in real life. Our host Susy was incredible and took the time to walk us through the apartment and show us everything we needed to know. We were more than comfortable in the beds and the air conditioner worked amazing. I am counting down the days to return to Positano and would hands down book Casa Cinque again without any hesitation!

The apartment is huge and spread out to give everyone both privacy and gathering area. It was clean and had laundry facilities (incl. Dryer -- very rare). There is a lot of stairs (322) between the ferry port and the accommodation however the Porter Services are great and incredibly cheap rather than carrying bags up the stairs and they will drop it right to the door at the time agreed to. The kitchen and washing machine were a nice little bonus to have in the accommodation as it meant we were able to spend longer admiring the incredible views from the balcony.

Two bedrooms, three bathrooms, clothes washer, full kitchen, outdoor patio, verandas, with a 180 degree view overlooking the city, ocean, and coastline. Immaculately clean and peaceful. We wanted to stay two more days and just relax in the apartment. Martina was very accommodating. She arranged for a porter service to deliver our bags to the house, met us streetside, gave us a full tour and recommendations, and was available by phone or text for any questions at all. The service she provided was excellent.

The bed was very comfortable...an important part of the experience Mauro left us a great bottle of wine and was available for any questions or concerns. We especially appreciate the washer and the kitchen area as well as the private terrace. Walking to city center was quite convenient but you need to be mobile or take a cab. Mauro left a lot of great information on the dining table which was very helpful. We were able to reserve a parking space for our vehicle.
