Dating back to 1870, this elegant hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Trondheim Central Station. It provides luxury spa facilities and 4 restaurants. Wi-Fi is free. Luxurious touches in every part of the room. Extremely soft and comfortable bedding. A fabulous way to relax and unwind. The bathroom was amazing to be in at this point in my trip. Breakfast was full of so many options and everything was delicious. Would come back in a heartbeat.

This modern designed hotel is next to Pirbadet Waterpark on Brattøra. It offers free Wi-Fi and stylish rooms. The Rooftop restaurant & bar is located on the 9th floor with views of Trondheim Fjord. Stuff was very useful, friendly and had amazingly happy appearance. Visiting that hotel was a great experience, and making me generally happy, like visiting an old friend who is happy to see you again.

The Superior Double Room was spacious, cool and I loved it. Wish I could have been there longer. Super breakfast. Friendly staff!

Set in a 1908 Gothic-style stone building in central Trondheim, Thon Hotel Nidaros is just 150 metres from Nordre gate shopping street. It offers free WiFi and rooms with flat-screen TV. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and beautifully set up. Even when arriving early in the morning, we got our room and could buy the breakfast for 13€ (a very good deal in Norway ;-)). Location close to main railway station and walking distance to main attractions, restaurants etc.

Located next to Lerkendal Stadium, this hotel is 7 minutes’ drive from central Trondheim. It offers modern rooms with free WiFi access and a flat-screen TV. Exceptional staff. Very professional and impeccable service. Breakfast was past luxury cruise ship level. Incredible value and will return and be first choice on my return. Buss pass to downtown is 12 bucks for 24 hours. Public transportation is amazing
