Set in the Telemark village of Rauland, Austbø Hotell offers a free shuttle bus to Vierli Ski Centre, 8 km away. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good.

Overlooking Hardangervidda Plateau, Rauland Høgfjellshotel offers free WiFi in common areas and guest rooms with a TV and private bathroom with shower. Rauland Ski Centre is just across the street. The common spaces are very generous, offering several separate halls in a traditional Norwegian style, including a warm wood-fired sitting area, featuring a lot of enjoyable art on the walls, adjacent to a bar with the essentials. We always enjoy the spacious rooms for board games and conversations, and there is sufficient privacy. The billiard/pool and table tennis facilities are helpful for social purposes. The swimming pool and the sauna were operational, but we had no time to use these. The breakfast was good. The dinner was OK. We liked all members of the staff, and we salute their gestures for making our stay good.

Small and super cozy apartment in a little village in the southern part of Norway. The apartment holds everything that is needed for a short stay, even a washing machine. The host is super nice, very friendly and fast reachable in case needed. We can definitely recommend to have a short stay in this cute cabin.

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the living room was very comfortable. Everything appeared to be very clean, including the nicely done bathroom. While we ended up not using the sauna or laundry machine, it is very convenient that they are available. Internet was very fast and reliable, so if you need to get some work done, you'll have no trouble. Last but not least, there was a good indoor parking garage available, which I expect will be useful in wintertime. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future!

Exceptional host, newly renovated apartment with very confortable kitchen and amazing view on a lake. Grocery shop at 3min drive, and access to the lake at 20min walk or 5min drive.

Rauland Feriesenter is situated in Rauland in the Telemark Region, offers accommodation all year round in different areas with rental beds. Cute and comfy cabin with everything you need, beautiful lake, boats, fishing, frisbee golf, minigolf, playground with trampoline and zipline, cute pets in the petting zoo area, amazing for a summer holiday with kids! Beautiful view over the lake to Hardangervidda.

Situated in Åmot in the Telemark Region, 48 km from Rjukan, Groven Camping & Hyttegrend features a lake and ski-to-door access. Free WiFi is featured. The accommodation features a seating area. We loved our cabin. More room than expected.

Overlooking Totak Lake, Totakbu offers self-catered apartments with a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace and lake views. Rauland Ski Centre is a 10-minute drive away. Wi-Fi access is free. Wow, what an awesome location and living space, we would have loved to stay for several days had our schedule allowed it. The main living dining room with high ceiling, wood beams, great views, is a wonderful place to spend time, and great kitchen facilities as well. The house looks far away from everything but it's only 8min by bus from the nearby town of Krossen, if you miss the last bus it's an hour walk. You are responsible for taking your trash to the nearby trash station, not conveninent without a car, but I guess most visitors will come by car so no big deal.
