Situated in central Geilo, this hotel is just 150 metres from Geilo Alpine Centre. Free services include Wi-Fi, private parking and a ski shuttle service. Nice room, wonderful dinner however the breakfast could use some spoofing up for choices and all the hot entries were cold.

However the quality of food in cafe and the bakery were excellent as was the coffee. And friendly wonderful staff.

Located 850 metres above sea level, Lia Fjellhotell overlooks the Hardangervidda Mountain. It offers free Wi-Fi, private parking and access to excellent skiing. Central Geilo is 14 km away. Breakfast was perfect, a buffet, with a lot of fish, fresh bread. Dinner was perfect too, 3 days buffet, and last evening, a 3 course meal, superbly cooked, the interaction with staff were very good.

It was beuatifully decorated and felt like a cosy home. It was lovely chatting with the owner. Our only issue is that we only stayed one night, and would have loved to stay longer.

It was the perfect ski apartment and was exactly how it looked in the pictures. Great facilities for self catering with a baby, and lots of clever storage to make the most of the space. Overall very cosy, and the host was really helpful too.
