Breakfast variety was good, and the food was freshly cooked and vegetables were freshly cut and delicious. Several kinds of cheese. Could have used some sliced dry salami/kobasice ... Hungarians are known for their salami, but there was none at the breakfast bar ??? I liked the thermos of filtered coffee and the BIG mugs! PERFECT! I'll take two cups! Your receptionist - a young man - was professional, cheerful, and helpful. He deserves a raise! Also the man who worked the breakfast room was cheerful and helpful. I like to be greeted by the morning staff of a hotel with a smile in the morning. He greeted me with a big smile. So then, kudos to receptionist for starting my day off right! The man deserves a nice raise too!

The family-friendly Hotel Pangea is set in the area of Nyíregyháza Sóstó Zoo, directly next to Sóstó Lake and it offers guests free unlimited zoo access, a restaurant and a coffee house with panoramic... the hotel exceeded my expectations. very good staff, welcome drink is total mess, but its similar to 5 star hotels :D overall hotel has good rooms, very good interior, quite rooms. You can rest and be at home in this hotel. the bonus is that you have entrance to the zoo (please be informed that you need half day for that) :D private parking in reality next building place under the cameras or u can find a place in front of hotel.

Had a wonderful one night stay together with my wife. 1. The room was very clean, bathroom impeccable. Room was not big - not small, it was perfect for the two of us. 2. Breakfast was variable and delicious and there was enough even if though we arrived a little late for breakfast. 3. The location is in very quiet neighbourhood, we slept like babies. 4. The parking was okay, in front of the hotel. 5. Last but surely not least, the staff was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. Always smiling, always ready to help, gave us good tips about the city and restaurants. All the respect for them. If we go to Nyiregyhaza again in the future, we will definitely choose to stay here.

Very clean, warm and silent. We needed late check in and it went smooth, we received the instructions how to get the keys and checked in with calm. Beds were comfortable, parking at the territory, everything just great.

Beautiful and wel maintained environment and scenery including fishing ponds, park, church, football pitch, swimming and thermal pools. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner included in the price with buffet style, Large selection of traditional Hungarian food. Lunch is available as an extra in their restaurant. Thermal bath available for guests until 11 pm. Gym and ping-pong for free of charge. We will definitely return in the future.
