Hotel in Alatskivi
Alatskivi Castle is a 16th century manor that's reconstruction was finished in the 19th century for Neo-Gothic style. If offers classically furnished castle rooms, with one located on the tower. Absolutely outstanding place! The castle presents itself very good from the outside, but the real value comes inside. You need to see and feel it with your own eyes. Wooden walls, furnitures, carpets, big old style windows and the general "vibe" that you can feel there, really makes it quite a unique experience. There are onnly four rooms for the guests to stay, but trust me we travel alot all around and the room we got on Alatskivi castle was really one of a kind. You could almost feel like you were back in time, where time used to go slower and there were actual peace all around. Very cozy and aesthetic. Night are truly calm and you can rest there. Breakfast delicious!
Hotel in Mustvee
Set in Mustvee, 40 km from Elistvere Animal Park, Peipsi Teemaja offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. House doesn't look great from the outside but is 100% renovated inside. Nobody at reception you need to do everything yourself using digital passwords. The curtains didn't block the light in the morning, so I had difficulties to sleep long. Very good breakfast.

Located opposite of Mustvee Cultural Center, Ankur Hotell offers accommodation on the second floor in Mustvee, 500 metres from Lake Peipsi. Everything else met expectations and was very enjoyable, but the room could have been a bit warmer. The room was large and spacious, and the location was close to the attractions."

Raja
Offering a barbecue and a private beach area, Anna Guesthouse is set in a picturesque area in Raja, on the shores of lake Peipus. Free private parking is available on site in a fenced area. Totally agree with other positive reviews! It's a nice place with a very amicable owner. The house self is rather compact, but there are all essentials available. Very beautiful sunsets and night sky full of stars, very quiet, divine and restorative. Great garden! Sauna use is for an extra fee. We drove by car to Kolkja (one of the Old Believers villages & museum), Alatskivi castle and park, Tartu (places to eat out: Kampus, Cafe Truffe, Polpo - all in the city centre and Aparaat in the former industrial area, now art district), and to absolutely stunning Kauksi beach. The grocery shops are max 10 min drive away, also locals are selling fresh vegetables, honey and smoked fish near almost every supermarket and along the road. Repellent is a must in Peipsi lake area.
Ranna
Rannamõisa Holiday Park is located in a quiet and peaceful area, 500 metres from Lake Peipus and its beach. This is a biiig house with high ceiling. Very clear signalization inside the building, about what to find and where . Really excellent. We loved how the owners intended to to match old style and materials with new one. The area is enchanting in general. Kitchen super equipped, Even an OPERATING sauna is available,
Kauksi
Kauksi Puhkemaja is located in Kauksi, 2 km from the Lake Peipsi. It offers quiet and peaceful accommodation in log houses. The houses are classically appointed and come with a flat-screen TV. Excellent, we enjoyed sauna and comfy beds. Breakfast was good, especially considering that we were the only 6 persons staying there. Firewood was prepared as well as grill and everything you need to grill something. No complaints.

Kallaste
Very kind host Nina, facility on the shore of lake Peipus (Peipsi in Estonian), so direct access for ice fishing in winter what actually was our purpose of the trip. Comfy bedrooms for 2-3 people, spacious common areas, wifi with rather fast internet, options to book the karakat (ice taxi) directly via host. Possibility to book the sauna. Flexi attitude towards late check-out on Sunday, really appreciated.
Alatskivi
Nina Cordons guesthouse is located directly at the Lake Peipus. If offers bicycle and boats which makes the stay very convenient. The breakfast is great and the host was super friendly and always in a good mood. It is interesting to live in a house which ones was a school. If you are an early bird (and also if you’re not;)), the sunrise is beautiful!
A really charming property! We felt very comfortable. I loved the interior design and the surrounding area, as well as a well-equipped kitchen and a friendly employee who checked us in. So many beautiful opportunities for sightseeing in the vicinity!
Really clean! Great garden and children's playground
The Guest House is in a secluded, beautiful location on the lake with a close, direct view across to Russia. The host Ana is charming and welcoming - communication during our stay was possible with her limited English and our limited Estonian. Our room was clean and water pressure in shower was great!
Always comfy, good atmosphere and and kind staff!
The location was ideal - just at the coast of the Peipus lake. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed. The owner of the house was kind and helpful.
Wonderful house for a family location! The lake is really close, and the house is well equipped and pleasant. The host is super helpful.
Food was delicious. Nature is very nice and beautiful. Lake is near the camping place. Staff was nice. Quiet and nice place.
I liked the view. I liked the nature. I liked the stone-walled artistic outdoor kitchen. I liked both saunas; we used one at the lake - it was at the perfect location: ready to jump into cool water. I liked the swing-seat. I liked the bed: it was comfortable.
A tiny tiny cabin which includes a fridge and beds. It was clean and ok for a 1 night stay. There is a shared bathroom and shower, which were clean. There is also an are with table for eating outdoors, which also has a sink to wash your plates. The place was very quiet, only 1 other guest was staying at the campsite. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The owner was friendly and she let us use her washing machine for a €6 fee.
Really cozy cottage with a very spacious and well equiped kitchen.
Villa is really close to the Lake Peipus, literally like 2 minutes of walking (we were lucky - the weather was sunny and managed to sunbathe on the sandy beach). Villa has a big parking - around 4-5 cards could fit there. On the premises there is a great outdoor kitchen, where me and my friends mostly spent our time cooking and grilling. There were enough beds to fit us all in and everybody comfortably slept. The wooden-heated sauna was also a great addition to our wonderful stay.
Very friendly owner. There are lots of outdoor activities for children, trampoline, swimming, table tennis, soccer and basketball.
Everything was great. Super place to stay with friends💥💥💥
Amazing fairytale location. The house is very simple but cute and comfortable, has everything you need. The host was super friendly and helpful!
Great host, place & location! We be staying there again. Highly recommend for families with kids, it has a great playground.
