Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. Everything, very clean, organized, cozy and had everything you needed. Location is very pretty and peaceful. I loved everything about it. Would go back time and time again.

The staff was friendly rooms where clean and the food amazing. Well worth the coin would book again. Beautiful location peaceful just what you would expect from a 4☆ place.

During the whole Stay we felt like in a dream. From the moment we arrived “host” welcomed us with pure Joy and kindness. She turned every wish into reality. Whether it was the really extraordinary breakfast that was packed especially for us before our Safari at 5am in the morning or the support in finding a good place for having dinner in the evening. Everything was just right. But as with everything, you have to experience it for yourself to understand what you are getting here. I can only give you this advice. Just Do it!

The grounds were stunning and the lodge itself was very nice. We had a huge room. This was also one of the few places we stayed that had good wifi. There was a cute jack russel who kept guard. The staff truly went above and beyond! From making us yummy meals to helping us buff out our rental car that we destroyed in Kruger. They even packed us lunches to take with us to Kruger! It was very nice chatting with the hosts and learning more about Africa and South Africa. Thank you for a great stay!

It had beautiful interior, it was super clean, barely any insects, the host was reachable and responsive all the time - without a doubt I would come there again! The place looks almost better than in the pictures and cleaning was done every day. Also, this place is within a protected space from the Kruger Gate Hotel and you can use their pool and restaurant if you consume something there. Thanks again for having us, it was amazing!
