Reception was v efficient. Our flight landed after 10pm but we were greeted warmly and given keys quickly at the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve seen. Coffee was freshly made for us. There was a selection of sweet and savoury. Staff were very pleasant.

Best thing of the hotel: the super friendly receptionist. We had some chit chat and I really appreciated it. He is giving good advices, helpful, and nice. It gives a soul to the place which otherwise would be really average... The breakfast was decent and the location, close to the see and the airport (8 min taxi... but the driver was really fast!) which is nice if you have an early flight.
The rooms are a bit old but they are clean and they do the job. For the price, nothing to complain.

The Apulian capital Bari has been known for its port since Roman times. Nowadays there are 2 harbours: cruise ships and ferries to Greece and Croatia depart from the new port, while the old port shelters fishing vessels.
Between them is a seafront road bordering the real attraction – the old town. Narrow, cobbled streets lead under arches to hidden piazzas with pavement cafes. Many are on adjoining Piazza Mercantile and Piazza del Ferrarese, where the old Roman road is exposed.
The imposing 12th-century Norman-Swabian Castle guards the west of the historic centre, and the simple Cathedral of San Sabino is from the same period. Equally understated is the Basilica of St Nicholas, housing relics of the saint. Pope John Paul II once prayed there, which may have given rise to Bari Airport’s name: Karol Wojtyła Airport.
Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the meeting point of the old town and the Murat district, built under orders of Napoleon’s brother-in-law. Facing each other across this street are the colourful façades of the municipal office and Piccinni Theatre, though most prestigious is the Petruzzelli Theatre opera house.
Booking.com’s Bari accommodation includes luxury hotels by the Fiera del Levante, cheap city centre apartments, and B&Bs near the train station. For families, the slides and swimming pools of Bari Acquapark make a great day out.
Lovely vibrant city, nice mix of old & new. We arrived on Saturday morning left Sunday afternoon. Clean city, friendly people & felt safe wandering around. Enjoyed a free walking tour.
Would love to return & would definitely recommend.

When we walked from the station to our apartment we were very worried as Bari looked a little seedy but when we got down to the waterfront and the old town we were enchanted. Lovely little winding alleys with so much to see including beautiful churches and wonderful places to eat. Don’t miss the street of the nonnas all sitting in doorways making pasta.

Bari is a walkable city with something for everyone, old town, beach, shopping, lovely food and plenty to see. Transport links are good to allow you to visit more of Puglia. We enjoyed Matera, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Monopoli and Poligno a Mare

A charming resort town with not a lot of things to do, with the exception of the vast choice of traditional Italian food and cuisine, which perfectly captures the spirit of Italy. It has everything in a tight package.

Bari is interesting and certainly worth a visit.
Bari is interesting and certainly worth a visit. The old town is crowded and busy and the narrow streets are fun to explore but your jostled quite a bit and we were warned about pickpockets. Parking is also VERY difficult and all the car parks were fil and closed off. We got lucky and found a spot but it was luck!

The staff at the tourist info are very cordial and speak good English. Recommend to book a city tour to get to know Bari and it's traditions better. Visits to nearby towns may be easily planned beforehand using trains and buses. Not to miss Alberbello, Polignano a Mare, Grotte di Castellana, Matera and Lecce.
Because one of our trains from Pompei was late we missed our ferry to Greece. We found the Contemporaneamente 147 last minute, very near the train station. One of the best features is the spa tub for two, but we couldn’t fill it with enough hot water, but it was still nice to relax in. Bari is not very large, so we decided to do a walk about around town the next day and were able to lock our bags up on one of the other floors. The room was very modern and the bed comfortable. Also, there is a great restaurant right next door.
We enjoyed our stay at Bari 102. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good with multiple choices including fresh mozzarella and burrata every morning. Marco was very helpful, suggesting restaurants and making reservations. The hotel is located just one street away from the main shopping district and a short walk to the old city. It is also a short walk to the train station which we used to take the short train ride to Monopoli which also has a charming old city.
Once I have completed the meeting I came for in Bari I had to wait several hours for the flight, I had already checked out in the morning before my meeting but I have been able to return to the hotel and avail of their services, the bar where I could stay and work on my laptop for some time but best was the opportunity to use the spa facilities, the hotel personnel I had met has been extremely kind and professional, I will recommend the Parco dei Principi to anybody passing by Bari.
Everything. Agatha, Nico and Marco were incredible. Room was 5 star hotel standard in a beautiful family run establishment. Breakfast was incredible, Agatha made fresh eggs every morning and there was more food than you could ever dream of eating. Location was perfect, close to the old town and right in the middle of the best part of the modern area. I honestly can't praise Agatha et al enough. You'd be a fool not to stay here.
We had the best time here, the appartment is very cute and Umberto is super friendly and always available and happy to help. We were in multiple hotels and appartments during our current vacation and sweet house in Bari was by far the best! You have everything you need and the bed was super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back! Thank you for everything dear Umberto!
Great hotel, absolutely great location, just 3 minutes from the Bari Centrale, so easy to reach by walking. Located at about 10-15 minutes by walking distance from the Bari old town and central part. Very kind staff! We booked 2 rooms and they were big enough, comfortable and clean. They kindly looked after our bags while we waited for our evening flight at 10 PM.
The hotel is modern, the rooms are nice. The decor is great. The breakfast is B- That is good, but some issues. The staff was very nice, understanding and helpful. If you are there when all the facilities are open and you have a car, this is a great place to stay. The bathroom was large with travertine walls. The pillows were the best we have encountered.
The hotel was a short 10 minute walk to the Old Town. It was close to shops, restaurants, bars etc. The hosts were very friendly, easily accessible on WhatsApp, offering suggestions on where to eat. The room was spacious, had a small kitchenette and all the necessary facilities required for a comfortable 3 night visit in Bari.
Large comfortable room with a large bathroom and a nice balcony. Our host gave us lots of information about what is in the area and best ways to get around. Great tip about the park and ride was helpful. The property is gated and very safe and secure. Bari was fantastic and I'd love to come back one day.
Breakfast was not included! pool was nice and room was nice as well. Air conditioning was welcomed after touring they Bari in July.only down fall was that the hotel restaurant chef does not know temperature for steak. Ordered steak medium and was well done. Other than that, all was good
The location was particularly good for us. we arrived by train and it was just an easy walk to the hotel. It is near all the shops, the old town and the sea. Many very good restaurants and bars are close by. Bari was a good centre for sightseeing around the area. Good breakfast.
Very kind and helpfull host Valentina. Location is very good. 2-3 minutes to old town and good restaurants. 20 minutes walk to Pane e Pomodoro Beach. Rooms are clean and there is more space than in hotel room. I recommend this place if you visit Bari.
Great location, few meterers from Pomodoro beach, very near train station, walking distance to old town of Bari.
Great host, flexible and open
New, clean and nice apartment, pretty details as flowers and paintings!
It was better than we expected ;)
The location of the hotel is perfect. Situated in the old town of Bari with many nice shops and restaurants. The room was clean, very comfortable. Nice breakfast. Rita is an exceptional host. She went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Bari, near the old city. beautiful room with a balcony and very nice breakfast offering - with delicious cappuccino . Lovely Rafaella attended to all my questions and needs.
Palazzo Danisi is close to the train station and the historic center of Bari. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was the best and most varied we had in Italy.
Best location, right in the city center and close to services, nice room with everything needed, friendly staff specially Francesco, highly recommend hotel. Thank you.
