The hotel is beautiful, clean and new. The room was spacious and clean. The service was excellent. Breakfast was very good too.

Daniel at the reception was very responsive to emails prior to our arrival. He would immediately respond and truly went above and beyond! The entire staff at the hotel was superb! We had an incredible experience and treated us like royalty. Highly recommend.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. It features an outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant. Service, food (dinner for a modest fee served with the other guests were perfect after a day of exploring or relaxation at the pool and tasting room. Breakfast and all the fresh local bounty, along with fresh baked goods, meats and cheeses, was the best on our trip) hospitality, free flowing wine and port were truly exceptional. We had a room for ourselves and separate one for our teenage son. Both were large, comfortable, with well appointed bathrooms and views. This property and Miguel, the owner, blew away every expectation we had. The absolute best stay, and especially for the value, we had in our three weeks in Portugal. Cant wait to go back.

Leisure options at the Lamego Hotel & Life. Those who would like to stay active can take a walk in the quiet garden. this was THE BEST hotel of our trip in portugal. Amazingly nice staff, beautiful property, and the most delicious breakfast you can imagine. Dinners in the restaurant were excellent too. Great location for exploring Douro Valley as well. We are dreaming of going back!

This farm stay has a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. The farm stay has a fax machine and photocopier and an ATM machine that guests can use. Beautiful place in a quaint little hilltop village.

Offering mountain views, A Tendinha - Guest House is an accommodation located in Peso da Régua, 1.1 km from Douro Museum and 14 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge. Guests can enjoy city views. This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Moinhos do Paiva is set in Castelo de Paiva and features a private pool and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the farm stay's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Everything. Ana was so friendly and helpful. Scenery was amazing. Awesome experience staying there.
